ISS Releases November’s Top 30 Prospects for 2014 NHL Draft

Our friends at ISS Hockey have released their latest rankings in preparation of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. For more information, visit www.isshockey.com or follow them on Twitter @ISSHockey. The big jump belongs to Joshua Ho-Sang of the Windsor Spitfires, a player the PBR crew was able to watch in person during our trip last December. It has been well-known that Ho-Sang is going to be a special player, so it great to see him receiving the recognition.

November 15, 2013 [Guelph, ON] ISS Hockey has released its new monthly rankings of the top prospects eligible for the 2014 NHL Draft. This month’s rankings include the top 200 skaters, along with the top 15 goaltenders, as evaluated and ranked by ISS Hockey’s worldwide network of scouts.
Below is the ISS Top 30, highlighting the rankings for the top 30 prospects. An interactive page where the ISS Top 30 can be viewed, sorted, commented on, and where users can interact with our scouts can be viewed at:

Windsor’s right winger Joshua Ho-Sang rises 12 positions this month to #14 from #26. At the other end of the spectrum, North Bay’s center Blake Clarke drops 13 positions to #26 from #13 in October.
“Power forward Blake Clarke has unfortunately missed most of the season with shoulder injury, and others are starting to move ahead of him in our rankings”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “On the other hand, Joshua Ho-Sang is rising for all the right reasons, his play on the ice. Ho-Sang has elite puck skills, exceptional play making ability and one on one skills, and is an explosive, quick, fast player. He is, however, a high risk, high reward player at times.”
The full monthly ISS Hockey rankings are available within RinkNet, software technology tailored for the general manager, scout, coach, player agent or superfan that wants in-depth information on prospects for the upcoming NHL and CHL drafts. They are published on the 15th of each month during the hockey season, along with detailed player scouting profiles and game reports. To find out more about RinkNet, please visit www.RinkNet.com.
