ISS Top 30 Sept 2013

The consensus among ISS staff when discussion on ISS #1 ranked Sam Reinhart is that he’s better than his former NHL All Star dad Paul Reinhart. Reinhart has tremendous leadership skills and thinks the game at an elite level at the center position. ISS #2 ranked Aaron Ekblad can log a prodigious amount of minutes on defense thanks to excellent stamina and is a workhorse that can be relied upon in all situations. Rounding out the ISS top 3 is Swedish puck wizard Willie Nylander, son of former NHLer Robert Nylander, who is a dynamic offensive minded forward with the ability to lift fans out of their seats.

“Sam Reinhart is the best playmaker in the draft and can really amplify the skill sets of those around him, while also having the ability to make things happen completely on his own”, says ISS Hockey Director of Scouting Dennis MacInnis. “As the season progresses, it will be exciting to watch the battle for our #1 ranking as Ekblad, Nylander and others continue to take the next steps in their developments.”
