Hello Penalty Box Radio Community

My name is Tim Neschis and I am pleased to join the site as a contributor. Hockey has been a passion for most of my life and getting the chance to write about it is something I never take for granted.

My love for the sport started when I was five years old. My father recorded game six of the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals where the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins. I remember watching that recording dozens of times, whenever I was bored and wanted to watch something entertaining. That’s how I became a fan of the NHL.

I’m now a recent college graduate who spent the last four years writing about sports. For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of writing about the New York Islanders, my team of choice, for The Hockey News. Covering the Nashville Predators is uncharted territory, so please bear with me as I learn the organization and its players.

I’m really excited to join Penalty Box Radio and cover the Predators. One of my main goals here is to grow as a writer as I want my work to be worth your time and I hope to earn that with every piece I publish here.
